2507 stainless steel sheet is the steel with the best resistance to localized corrosion among duplex stainless steels, especially the best resistance to pitting corrosion.
2507 duplex stainless steel contains 24%-26% chromium and 3%-5% molybdenum, which makes it resistant to uniform corrosion of organic acids (such as formic acid and acetic acid), inorganic acids and dilute hydrochloric acid.
2507 super duplex stainless steel has an extremely low carbon content, less than 0.030%, and is resistant to carbide-related intergranular corrosion.
The duplex structure of 2507 stainless steel plate has excellent chloride stress corrosion resistance and high resistance to crevice corrosion.
